2000 Sterling Toterhome, custom conversion in 2012. C-12 Cat with 400hp and a Super 10 manual trans. 12,000 lb front axle and 23,000 lb rear air ride axle. Polished aluminum rims with 24.5 rubber with 60%+ tread. The truck has PS, Cruise, dual air ride high back buckets and A/C that blows cold. It also has a air dump valve on the rear axle and a locking differential. On the back is a fifth wheel, gooseneck ball and receiver hitch along with air hoses and couplers for a trailer and an electric brake controller so you can pull whatever you want.
The body is 14' made of tubular steel frame covered with white aluminum and completely spray foam insulated. It rides on it?s own set of air bags. The bay doors and corner trim is mirror stainless steel. All LED lights. The driver side bays contain a 115 gallon fresh water tank and a 115 gallon waste water tank. The bays are insulated and heated for cold weather use. On the passenger side is a bay with 2 - 30 lb propane tanks, 3 truck batteries and a house battery. One bay for storage and the 30 amp shore power cord, and another bay for a generator.
The interior is uniquely decorated in a western theme with beautiful solid wood cabinetry and laminate floors. The interior contains a gas cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, inverter to run the refrigerator down the road, double sink, roof A/C, LP furnace, closet and bathroom. The bathroom has a toilet, shower and continuous flow water heater. No more short or cold showers. The futon folds into a full queen bed.There is also a storage area or small bunk above the cab.
In the last 5,000 miles we have put in all new brakes, new kingpins in the front axle, new airbags, new A/C pump, new exhaust gasket and a new turbo. We just finished a 2,000 mile run and it rode and drove like a dream. We pull a large trailer with draft horses and it has plenty of power to cruise 75 mph with ease. With it?s large fuel tanks, it has a range of over 1000 miles. This rig is ready for the road and pull whatever you want to pull! Don?t pass up this one of a kind toterhome!
