| Hi, I'm looking at a used truck to pull my 2 horse trailer....max weight I'd probably ever pull would be 5000 lb; would usually be around 4000 lb. The truck I'm looking at is a 2006 F250 XL 4x4 automatic with 75000 miles. Carfax says 2 prev. owners, no major problems. Dealer is asking $14,900. The truck looks to be in good condition cosmetically, just stripped down (no power windows, no CD player,etc.). It does have new tires. It's a gas engine. Any opinions/advice y'all have would be greatly appreciated!

Location: Colorado | I think the truck itself will do the job for you. I really can't help you on pricing, other than an XL standard cab should be priced pretty low in the overall scheme of things. That's basically a work truck, and should be pretty inexpensive. It might be worth your while to pay a mechanic you trust to look it over and tell you what they see. | |

| My opinion from a dealers stand point, I think it is TOO HIGH, even if it was a loaded up LARIAT truck it would be high since it is a gas rig!
