Needing to know if anyone has had any experience with the Hemi engine and it's pulling capabilities. We currently have a 3 horse 4 star with a 10 ft SW living quarters. Does the Hemi pull as well as a diesel and how is the gas mileage, power etc. Did they have any problems with this when it first came out in 2003? Just needing some advice and info if anyone can help. Thanks

It is an OK motor IMHO, but it isn't going to pull anywhere near as well as a similar truck with the dsl motor.

I'd expect maybe 6mpg towing something like that with that truck. If you went with a truck with the cummins and a stick, maybe it would get 11-12.
