Is there any thing I can do mechanically to increase fuel mileage on an 06 Sport chassis with a 330hp Mercedes?

Thanks

I would say I average 8. I don't check it very often. I have an auxillary tank on the back. I just fill it up and drive till I need fuel again..

I wondered about starting with cutting the exhaust off what it would do?

On mine I get 11 empty. I pulled a gn trailer with a total trailer weight of 18,500 lbs from Houston, TX to GAllup NM and got 8.1. You are not doing to bad I don't think. Mine has 4.61 gears. I try to drive about 63-65. Sure wish I could rig mine for an aux fuel tank. having two 50's is not much fun. If it were mine I would not cut the exhaust. May could try a more open muffler or a big-rig tuner but I admit I don't now a lot about them.
