My truck has 160,000 miles, 2002 F250 gas. The front rear seal is leaking. I pull a 3 horse Sundowner LQ. Quotes to fix are $900. Truck is great except I know it's tired. I pull short, flat miles, less than 150 miles about once per month. If I have it fixed, what are chances of it leaking again? Any other ideas?

Should I trade or repair? Prefer to save money but need a truck.

Have you ever let it fixed? Brother's F250 seems to have the same issue. We will address that right after we finished installing the Moto metal wheels and new tires on the current truck project. I think it's either the turbo pedestal or an HPOP leak.
