Description: |
8.3 Cummins with fuel plate for approximately 350hp/900tq. (Boost and pyrometer installed on A-pillar). Engine runs beautifully, tons of power. Cold starts are effortless. -43k original miles -Eaton Fuller 6 speed trans -Air brake truck, brakes work great. Tons of brake linings left front and rear. -33k GVWR -Dual hydraulic pumps, one high flow, one mid. (Currently no hydraulic resevoir installed). Was originally a Derrick digger truck. High flow pump was for auger, mid ran hydraulic winch. -Chelsea PTO -4.56 ratio Marmon-Herrington 4wd conversion (MT17 front axle, eaton rear, MVG750R 2 speed air shift transfer case). -Goodyear MV-T 395/85R20 tires, 100% tread. -20x8.5 Hutchinson Aluminum 2 piece military wheels (if running on the highway, front axle would need longer studs for full thread contact, due to thickness of wheels). -Not a factory A/C truck, but I have installed a factory ford HVAC box on the firewall with the proper evaporator. Ongoing project to be completed, but this item is a big head start. -5/8" pintle plate welded at rear of frame, trailer wiring all terminated at 7 pin RV plug. (Trailer brake controller installed under dash, is not currently wired, removed old wiring that was not up to par). -14ft extra heavy duty flatbed installed. Built for the government, new old stock, was never used before installing on this truck. -All lights sealed LED units. -JW Speaker LED headlights, DOT approved, super bright, heated lenses for use in snowy/cold climates. -Truck cruises easy at 55mph, can go faster for spurts. -Truck was clearly fleet maintained, every grease zerk shows consistent use. (And there are tons of zeros on this truck). CONS: -Truck was originally a powerline truck, cab has some bumps/bruises, but shows well nonetheless. -Hood has some damage from tire blowout in the past. -Front bumper....has been used as a bumper. -Some rust on sections of frame in between frame layers, nothing AT ALL that has affected strength. (double frame truck). Has been sandblasted and painted. |
