What are y'all running for clearance between trailer and a 4x4 truck- especially for getting into rough trailheads?

Wow! 9-10 inches! Guess I'm gonna have to do some work to get the 4x4 lowered, and get the trailer raised. I just backed under a similiar trailer to what I'm buying, and only have 5-6 in. clearance.

That has been a problem with the Dodge trucks because they sit so much higher. It's not so much a  problem with many of the newer trailers out there, but the older ones. They seem to sit lower and then you have these clearance problems. This has been discussed before. Here is the thread:

I have a newer Featherlite 3h G/N trailer..it fits great! But it has a fair step up for the horseys. The older trailers were a bit lower.
