Location: Gloversville, NY | I'm a newbie tired of trying to find people to take my horse to the show. For a 2-horse stock trailer, what are two type trucks that I should buy. I can only buy 1995-98 or so years due to limited funds: |

| I'm not sure what you mean by "two type trucks" but a half ton should be sufficient for pulling a 2H stock trailer. Anything bigger would just be icing on the cake. However, a diesel will last a lot longer and get better fuel economy. So you may want to consider a 3/4 ton or 1 ton with a diesel. It all depends on your budget. |

Location: Gloversville, NY | thanks a lot, that helps. I meant two trucks that would work -- so a F250 or a Chevy 2500, are they 1/2 ton? |

Location: North Dakota | If you go with the Chevy, a '96 or newer will have about 60 horsepower more than a '95 or older--assuming a gas engine. |
