I have an 03 Dodge diesel, w/an automatic transmission and would like to put an exhaust brake on it for mountain driving pulling a heavy trailer.

Anyone put one that has an automatic transmission?

Any problems??

PAC BRAKE! On the later model trucks I think it is a pretty simple deal. I know the older 89 to 98.5 12 valve and some 98.5 to 2002 24 valve (non HO) Dodge trucks you have to have heavy valve springs installed or when using the EB the compression will open the exhaust valves and not work right unless set on a low setting.

Only thing to remember is non of them should be used in wet conditions! In some cases when used in wet conditions you will be able to see the side of your trailer going down the road!

www.cumminsforum.com there is a section just for 03 to 07 5.9 trucks.
