What could be wrong with it?
It is starting to making a popping sound in the front end when turning... has anyone else ever dealt with this.

It is a 3500 diesel 5 speed if that helps

Ball joints, tie rod ends, drag link (center section) or all 3!.... Dodge trucks are have a major problem with weak front end parts!

You can have someone raise the front end so the tires are off of the ground and then you should be able to find the lose part! The ball joints will show play if you grab the top and bottom of the tire and try and move it in and out, the tie rod end and other steering parts will show up if you grab the tire on the front and back and move in and out (like you are turning left and right).
