Go to one of the online industry price books and get an idea of what fair market value is. www.edmunds.com www.kbb.com www.nadaguides.com these will give you a ball park idea of trade in value, avg retail etc. They will go through what options. mileage, condition etc. Also look at your local paper or local websites. ie www.carsoup.com and see what individuals are asking for similar trucks. When you weigh all of the above info you should have a good idea of what a fair price is. Understand that with fuel prices as high as they are and all the good deals on new trucks. The value of a used truck is way down. Here in Utah you might get $15,000, but it would be a hard sell, everybody wants diesel and 4x4 around here. |
