| Looking to upgrade my truck, currently pulling a 4 horse goose neck trailer, and we pull in the mountains quite often.
May want to change out the trailer to a three horse with living quarters in the near future. Because of a personal grudge, I doubt I
will ever own another dodge. Current truck is a 2002 chevy diesel, I like the truck, but I want something newer and I am not sure of the
pros and cons between diesel vs gas and chevy vs ford. Opinions please, especially on longevity and reliability.
Thanks,
Elaine

| What truck did you end up with? You can consider the new Dodge diesel, especially the RAM 3500. We recently installed the b and w hitch and wiring on the trailer on buddy's 2017 Ram Longhorn and it does the hauling just fine. Basically, the newer and more powerful diesel trucks wouldn't disappoint you. | |

| I wanna know what truck you end up with since I'm leaning my decision into getting a new Ford Truck after I get to sell my Tacoma. | |

| Consider Ford F350. The Ford 350 is a great option for someone that wants unlimited towing capabilities. PROS: Large towing capabilities Plenty of cabin space CONS: Expensive interior upgrades; most expensive of the Ford options Fuel efficiency can be costly Another choice is Dodge Ram 3500. The Dodge Ram 3500 is going to have the most power out of the three Dodge truck options. PROS: Ability to tow almost any trailer Spacious interior Multiple configurations Quiet ride CONS: Rough ride quality when not loaded down Poor fuel economy The final option I want to suggest you is Chevy Silverado 3500. Its design is cool. The Chevy Silverado 3500 is one of the most powerful truck models Chevy offers. PROS: Impressive towing capacity Great off-road performance 15-view camera system Large interior CONS: Doesn’t have the smoothest ride quality Very large truck so can be tougher to drive and handle | |
