I just had my coolant replaced and bought a pint of the diesel coolant additive. When reading the owners guide, it recommended adding 4 pints. Do any of you use this additive? If so, do you use 4 pints? I bought one pint (before reading) and am wondering if that will be ok? Thanks

Did you get the additive from Ford? The 7.3's need to keep a certain chemical balance(ph?) in orer to prevent cavitation in the liners. You do want to follow the directions and put in the correct amount. It should say something in your owners manual about that.
