Still on the great tire search. The GMC 2500 HD has the standard tires.. so that is easy.. but we want to get the tires at Sam's. Like the other poster had said.. I looked up the Goodyears and they didn't seem to have a good rating.. the other tires were the BF Goodrich LT245/75R16/E RWL BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO (which I think a poster liked a lot)
The Goodyears were the Wranglers and then there was an Goodyear ATD2 of which I couldn't even find a review on tirerack.
My hub liked the looks of the Goodyear pattern better than the Goodrich pattern .. but I want a nice ride (the Bridgestone's aren't sold at Sam's or I would look at them).
I heard the tire prices were going up Oct 1, rather than November 1.. so I gotta get moving and at least buy the tires before the price goes up.

I have had real good luck with the BF Goodrich All Terrain. In fact I am getting ready to put them back on my Ford. I will go with the 265/75R16/E on my F-250. I just priced the 285s and the dealer said that the highest they came in was a D rating. However, they were in the relatively same amount of towing capacity as the 265s with the E rating. In the end the 265s were a little cheaper so I decided to go with them.
