I was wondering if anyone here that owned a Kodiak or Top Kick had straight piped their truck.  I put a Bullydog chip on mine, but EGT's are running too high.  I was told by my diesel guy to straight pipe it and it would lower the EGT's.  I wanted to know if you had any problems with your truck throwing codes when you had it done.  I have researched the topic on the web with mixed oppinions.  Some people have said that it put their truck into "limp" mode and some have said that nothing happened.  Please help!!  My truck is a 2006, just in case you need that info.
