I've seen them for the manual transmission, but can you get one for a 2003 Automatic?

Any one had BAD luck w/a 2003 Dodge automatic transmission? I'm looking at one.

In early 03, the HO Cummins came with stick shift only, and the SO could be had with the 47RE or stick.

By about March I think the stronger 48RE came out, and you could then get an auto with the HO.

An exhaust brake can be used on the 03's with the 48RE, but it won't be warranty approved. An aftermarket controller to keep the torque converter locked will be required to avoid burning the thing up. I think there may also be a thrust bearing inside the transmission on the 03/04 that should be upgraded.
