Subject: Michelin Truck tires

We are looking at new tires for our 2002 F350 DRW 4X4. We haul a 10'8 Arctic Fox camper and pull a 4-horse Sundowner (with 2 horses and camping gear). Headed out for a week in the mountains of Oregon we are right at 22,000#.  If we aren't hauling the camper and/or trailer this truck is parked.

Has anyone been running Michelin XPS Traction tires (step up from the XPS Rib)? They look like they could really handle the load - 3 ply sidewalls, good tread for all terrain. I am just concerned because they are expensive! I hate to get them and then find they have serious flaws.

So.. any pros or cons?  Thanks!!

Dusty
