Can you change your air filter yourself, or dose anyting need to be reset on a computer? I use to change my own airl filter on my old 2000 7.3 diesel... But befor I just assume it's ok I thought I'd ask . Can I just open up the case and replace it?

Simple replacement. Nothing else needed.
However I would think about upgrading to an aftermarket unit for better preformance and air flow.
I use the S&B intake kits, upped my fuel mileage a little also.

its a simple replacement indeed. Upgrading is a good choice but switching to cleanable air filters can save you money while installing a cold air intake system on your truck will definitively increase engine performance

Today, i just cleaned the air filter i bought from stylintrucks, like what i said before upgrading is a good option for having a filter installed in your truck but sometimes you also need to maintain it once in a while.
