Looking to upgrade my truck, currently pulling a 4 horse goose neck trailer, and we pull in the mountains quite often.
May want to change out the trailer to a three horse with living quarters in the near future. Because of a personal grudge, I doubt I
will ever own another dodge. Current truck is a 2002 chevy diesel, I like the truck, but I want something newer and I am not sure of the
pros and cons between diesel vs gas and chevy vs ford. Opinions please, especially on longevity and reliability.

Diesel trucks (Chevy or Ford) are better for towing heavy loads and long distances, offering more torque and longevity. Gas trucks are cheaper upfront with lower maintenance costs but less towing power. For reliability, Ford's Power Stroke and Chevy's Duramax diesels both have strong reputations.
